Kampala
city was flooded with Ugandans who work from abroad, and they made it a habit
to spend money with no big reason.
However
Frank Gashumba who is famous for his uncensored critics, has come out to attack
the so called rich gang for their childish behaviours.
According
to Gashumba, rich people do not pose for pictures with their money the way
these the rich gang has been doing lately.
The rich
gang is comprised of Ivan Ssemwanga, Ed Cheune and King Lawrence who leads the
flossing list.
“People
with money don’t take photos with it. We should seek for respect not attention
because it lasts longer,” Gashumba said.
The Rich
gang held a party where revellers were treated to an open bar of single-branded
liquor on 23rd December last year.
They also
splashed money over the weekend at club Guvnor where they bought over eight
bottles of Moet Champaigne, estimated to cost around 4M shillings.
Various
people have come out to criticise the group for wasting money yet some of them
(Lawrence) sleep in hotels.
“You are
not where you want to be in life, but you are partying every weekend. What
exactly are you celebrating,” Gashumba added.
